3BM - finalist in ICT service and support

By Helen Warner, Business Development Manager, 3BM

Every school 3BM work with, across all of our edtech services, would recommend us to others.  Our staff are specialists, with huge experience and expertise, and we believe the Bett Awards judges recognised the passion, quality and energy of our employee-owned company. We are keen to spread our best practice more widely. Our amazing primary computing curriculum team supports schools to develop a rich computing curriculum through advisory teacher support, our comprehensive scheme of work (EYFS – Year 6), as well as newsletters, training and on-going support. The team are not only strong in computer science for primary schools, but have a leading role supporting digital literacy and online safety across London.  Online safety at home is critical, so our support work with parents is increasingly more important.

We have a large team that supports schools to make best use of their Management Information System (mainly SIMS) and their work supporting assessment analysis and tracking has been particularly impactful locally.

3BM also have a strong record of supporting maintained and academy schools with their financial management and budgeting.

The 3BM technical team works closely with the curriculum and MIS teams – something which we believe sets them apart from most technical teams.

It is important to have a strategic and holistic approach to edtech in schools and our schools tell us that we make a difference and our impact is very high.

I do think the nature of our company makes a difference too because our staff have the values and responsibilities which come with employee-ownership.
