Connell Sixth Form College's BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport and Football will be delivered by City in the Community coaches, and available to students at the Sixth Form College on Alan Turing Way. Students will play in the ECFA league as well as in national cup competitions.
“We are delighted to have teamed up with City in the Community to continue delivering top class education,” said Connell Principal, Jane Hopcroft. “This course is ideal for those wanting to enter employment as a coach, instructor or leader in the sport and active leisure sector, combining academia with practical coaching and the chance to improve football skills and ability.”

This course is another step to demonstrate our commitment to developing our learners, and we look forward to a successful year ahead.”
The course is two years long and the equivalent of three A Levels. It requires four GCSEs Grade C/4 or above for entry, including English and Mathematics. Applications are now open - students can apply for a place via the CSFC website or via: lisa.mckay@cityfootball.com.
