North Walsall Primary Academy in the West Midlands is the latest school to officially become an academy under the Academy Transformation Trust (ATT).

The academy transferred to ATT from the Erudition Schools Trust on 1 April 2016, following a successful consultation period.

The academy, previously known as Charles Coddy Walker Academy, is an average-sized primary school in Walsall. Lisa Chambers remains Principal, where she has been in the role since 2014. Lisa says: “We are looking forward to joining ATT and to becoming a part of the family.

“We have been working closely with ATT throughout the transfer process and we are keen to start our journey together.

“We have high expectations for our pupils and we work hard to support them to achieve their very best.  We are confident that ATT will support us in making this happen for each of our pupils.

“Thank you to our staff, parents, pupils and the local community for their support during this transition.”

Joyce Hodgetts, Managing Director of ATT, said: “I am pleased to welcome North Walsall Primary Academy to our growing family of academies.

“We have been building a strong foundation with Lisa, her staff and most importantly the pupils for some time and we look forward to the academy joining ATT.

“Our support will continue to be robust and will focus on school improvement and collaboration with our other academies.

“We passionately believe that every child deserves a first class education and the very best chance in life and we will work together with Lisa and everyone at North Walsall Primary Academy to make this a reality for their pupils.”
